We met in dental school in 2019, and from the very beginning, we became instant friends. We laughed our way through long days in clinic, shared all the highs (and chaos) of dental school, teased each other endlessly, and always had each other’s backs.

Somewhere between the exams and endless cups of coffee, friendship quietly turned into something more. During our sophomore year, we realized what we felt wasn’t just friendship anymore and that’s when Brett asked Ava to be his girlfriend.

Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2024, Brett got down on one knee and asked Ava to be his best friend and partner for life. She said yes instantly, no anesthesia required.

Now, we’re counting down the days until June 6, 2026. A day we’ll celebrate surrounded by the people we love most, as we begin the greatest adventure of all: a lifetime together
